Rotuma Golf Day postponed to October 2024

Unfortunately the Trustees have not been able to organise a tournament for 2023 and we apologise for the late notice of postponement of the Rotuma Golf and fundraising activities.

We have booked the usual course at Denarau and the new date is Saturday, 05 October 2024. We thank the many community members for your continuous support and generosity and hope you will diary this new date and meet again in October 2024. It is hoped that we can once again all gather to support our communities.

Rotuma Golf Day 5 October 2019

A great day with 100 registered players taking to the course. The weather was perfect for the day with cloud cover and a gentle breeze which kept things cool.

The evening dinner and dance event was sold out with 100 guests attending the Nadina Authentic Fijian Restaurant on Port Denarau. Another wonderful menu with favourite dishes and the Tropical Funk Band playing a wide range of fantastic music.

Event 6 October 2018

The number of registered players who register for the annual golf tournament is steadily growing. This year 100 registered players joined together for the 8th tournament which was held on Saturday 6 October 2018 at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club.

The Foundation also held its annual Dinner and Dance evening on the same day at the Nadina Authentic Fijian Restaurant on Port Denarau. A great menu with fantastic music provided by “Tropical Funk”.

We thank all our supporters and sponsors for their ongoing support.

Event 7 October 2017

Ninety six registered players joined together for the 7th annual Rotuma Golf Tournament which was held on Saturday 7 October 2017 at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club.

The Foundation also held its annual Dinner and Dance evening on the same day at Cardo’s Restaurant and Bar on Port Denarau. Fantastic music was provided by the “Split Island Rock” band.

Event – Saturday 1 October 2016

The 6th annual Rotuma Golf Day was held on Saturday 1 October 2016 at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club. A successful day with 90 registered players enjoyed a day of golf and some continued with the dinner and dance at Cardo’s Bar and Grill.

Event – Saturday 3 October 2015

A successful golfing event was held on Saturday 3 October with 76 people taking to the course for the 5th annual Rotuma Golf Day. The day raised over $10,000 for the Ha’enoa Rotuma Charity Foundation.

An evening function was held at the Bombay Lodge Restaurant & Bar, Denarau, Nadi on Saturday evening. A sumptuous dinner was served with delicious fekei. The local band – Split Island Rock played a variety of dancing and easy listening music.

4 October 2014 | Rotuma Golf Tournament

The attached brochure was distributed at the fourth annual Rotuma Golf Tournament which was held on Saturday 4 October 2014 at the Denarau Golf & Racquet Club, Denarau Island, Nadi. 4 October 2014 | Dinner and Dance

An Island Night dinner and dance was held at Cardo’s Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar (Upstairs), Port Denarau, Nadi. The band “Sanfroid Ride” played a variety of music. It was a fun night had by everyone as can be seen in the pictures below.
